Ground Flares
Whirlwind offers a full line of enclosed ground flare systems. All systems are available in 12VDC and 120VAC with horizontal liquids separation with sight glass, level control, liquids pump (diaphragm or electric), gas tower with mist pad, high liquids positive shut-off float valve, isolation valves, horizontal vent valve, inline flame arrestor, chamber flame arrestor, operator heat and avian guards. System is mounted on a structural "solid deck" oilfield skid.
Systems are available with continuous ignition, intermittent ignition, flow activated ignition, flame rod, flow detection, operational data logger and continuous pilot.
FSI Series Single Pressure Flare System
Whirlwind offers a full line of production single pressure flare systems. All systems are available in 12VDC and 120VAC with interchangeable stainless steel flare tips with flame roll over guards, liquids separation chamber with sight glass, level control and liquids pump (diaphragm or electric). System comes standard with our ground servicable igniter-flame rod-pilot assembly with enclosed wiring conduit. This system allows for the repair of the system without the cost and safety concerns of a manlift.
Systems are available with continuous ignition, continous pilot, intermittent ignition, flow activated ignition, flame rod, flow detection, operational data logger, flame arrestors and guide wire systems.
FSI Series Dual Pressure Flare System
Whirlwind offers a full line of production dual pressure flare systems. Dual pressure systems allow for the destruction of tank vapor gas and emergency vent gas utilizing one flare assembly. The dual pressure system is ideal when dealing with gas streams containing H2S or to reduce overall vapor destruction equipment costs (eliminates need for enclosed combustor). All systems are available in 12VDC and 120VAC with interchangeable stainless steel flare tips with flame roll over guards, liquids separation chamber with sight glass, level control and liquids pump (diaphragm or electric). BTEX-VOC Condensate Skids
Whirlwind’s BTEX system is used to capture benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the still column of triethylene glycol (TEG) dehydrator regenerators.
The system recovers condensates and volitile organic compound (VOC) vapors for burner fuel. Whirlwind offers two air-cooled exchanger models; 18-6 (18 - 6' tubes) and 32-6 (32-6' tubes). Both are equipped with liquids separators, level control, steel sight glass, diaphragm or electric liquids pump, temperature monitoring and discharge spark arrestor.
Solar Powered Invertor Skid
Whirlwind offers 12VDC to 120VAC solar powered inverter skids for clients who are expecting electrical power in the future or who operate in remote sites, but still desire to use 120VAC power systems.
The solar inverter skid provides adequate power to handle the electrical requirement for both our 120VAC enclosed combustor and flare systems on the same ciruit.
